From the photo, yours is a nice, clean K1000 SE with its original (or recovered) brown leather.
Get some film in it :)

I'll would post a photo of my rough old Black MX and soon-to-be-delivered (hopefully in working order) silver ME Super bought for its unremarkable but hopefully flexible 28-80 non-SMC lens were both these items not woefully outclassed by a lot of the hardware shown in this thread!
Being busy at work and at home means precious little time for getting away from the house, enjoying a walk and catching whatever tickles my fancy on film - still only on roll No.3 of 36 exp. film since getting the MX at Christmas - shame as we've had some cracking bright/misty mornings of late.

Complying with the stereotypical Yorkshireman there David. Not only watching your own pennies, but doing so on behalf of others (A trait I can appreciate being from West Wales, fashionably pre-disposed to have deep pockets and genetically designed to have short arms)
Back 'on topic' - I'm not really qualified to comment, but there are some cracking ' 'collections' of photographic equipment in this thread, not least Moe's above! Having only just started to click away with an older item of kit, I'm not sure I understand why of lot of members here seem to have amassed large quantities of both bodies and lenses . . . . it's seems to work like an addiction:D and maybe I just haven't caught the bug . . . . . . yet?
