Aaaaaah ! In that case, yes ! The fish eye is a great lens ! I think you can have something pretty cool with a slow speed give a sens of motion.
New things to explore for me :) great !
Thanks ! :) i keep trying to do better each time, and i'm coming to it ^^

The friends didn't pose for the shot, they never do. Hence the tricky part :)
For the fish-eye on a rope, it means being really close to the climber, on a place were you won't bother him (like the anchor ?) - if you want to fill the frame. But the rest of the gym will appear, but it will be hard to make it interesting (composition-wise) IMHO.
To give you an idea, this is 35mm film, with the DA35/2.4, 1/60, iso 800, (we have a huge window on the gym). i was at 1,60m away from the climber, and be closer would had been nice, but i would have prevent him from doing some of the mouvements.
The more i do this, the more i think a good 50 to 150 is the way to go, if you are outside. inside a good 15-85mm is the best way to get all you want, no mater the gym, boulder or sport-climbing.

Be ready for Iso 3200 then :)
I shoot quite often competitions, in gym. And that's not that terrible for the camera, as long as you avoid changing lenses often.
I love the 105 on the 67, so I use only this lens. I never change it.
For the DSLR, the main thing is to have something wide enought to capture something in small area, but the lens have to be fast enought to avoid the horrible f5,6, 1/60 and Iso 3200.
Or to have enought space to use any normal or telephoto.
You can do some casual shooting. Simply avoid the moment when the gym is crowded. Otherwise you'll end up with many disturbing elements in the picture.

Having any other focusing screen than the standard matte screen make it easier ;)
I don't have the slightest idea if you can change it on the 645D/Z ( i only own the P6x7 in MF)

i like the color gradation, with the lavender / blue on top.
And i would have bet that DOF increase a lot more than that when you stop down, even at close focusing distance ;)

what do you use for editing ?
Looking very closely i would say : WB is few degrees too much yellow (100-150 kelvin to warm i guesstimate), your black are a very little hair lighter than the Noristu one, and your green are less green in the mid range.
Otherwise than those fine adjustement, you are quite good in matching the Noristu

i used Portra 400 @3200 ISO (+3 stops) for some sports competitions.
There is some color shift in the yellow or mageta spectrum, but the result ils quite good. Grainy, but noise free.
I have no fear to use it if the subject is properly exposed.

Nice, but in my experience, when overexposing Portra beyond 1 stop, there is a yellow cast that is not super "print friendly"...
Anyways, the picture is really fine :)
