A DGB6 Grip for the K1. When shooting from a static rope, i really miss the extra grip for vertical !

DFA 24-70 f2.8
Huge beast, but very promizing. All the good things said are true. The weight too unfortunately  . Sometime, you just have no choice really but to use the best tool for the job
Now the DA 35/2.4, the Panagor 28mm f2, and the vivtar 24mm f2 will have to go ! :)

Full a eBay request with pictures of the lenses with the fungus. If correctly described, eBay will refund you and the seller has to pay for the shipping back. Usually the seller just let you keep the stuff.

congrats ! An amazing lens considering it's age. It does really shine on APS-C even wide open, or @f5.6. Far more than most of the lenses of this era, IMO. And yes, i'm pretty hard on old lenses.

Well, fungus seems to be on every layer of glass ! I'm going to take pictures of it, and ask for a return. Despite the fungus, the lens in itself is in very good condition, and rendering is good.

You know the moto : if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.
Well ... the moto is right ! The lens is full of fungus ! I will try to CLA it, but i never really done it so ...

I second that ! it's indeed a good lens ! it's so light (a dream !). the rendering is very consistant with nowadays Pentax lenses.
I almost regret of never using it extensively !

Just won the e(vil)Bay auction of an FA 85/1.4 for 361€. Small spot on the glass explain the low price.
This latest acquisition helped me complet my "fast set" with a 28/2, 35/2.4, 55/1.4 and the 85/1.4.
To compensate room (but not bank balance) i will let go the FA 28-105 3.2-4.5.

The colormunki is definitely better ! The spyder is really basic and offer a very simple color calibration. The munki also offer luminance calibration (important if you do web + various kind of prints).

Always depends on your own definition of nice, sharp, or contrasty enough. Which funnily evolve with time and experience !
I got myself a Datacolor Spyder5 (for a wooping 129€), which is screen calibration device. Why ? I'm going to do some prints on expensive and fancy (and huge) Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta 315 g, and though it would be a pity to fail to get what i want because of screen calibration.

This is really a great thing ! Only drawback : it's a one time use of the mechanisme (the piece that stop the blade is deformed to absorb the choc of the blade). Still a great idea !

A Plastic Fantastic for 60€ shipping in.
I had very mixed feeling with this lens on the K-x and K5II. I'm looking for a Sigma 35/1.4, but i think i need to make sure i like the 35mm FoV on FF to spend 800€.
I'll see what i think of it on the K1, and see what's the next move is.
