200mm prime + TC, vs budget 300mm zoom?

My favourite 300mm lens is FA*300, next one DA*200 2.8 with Tamron-F AF 1.4x converter.
Those two kits are FF so good for K-1.
I do have FA 100-300 the silver version, it is good but not comparable with the two above.

The black version is not so good.

Never used Sigma 70-300.
You should perhaps look at Pentax AF 1.7 teleconverter, still few floating around in the used market.
That one is very clever, will give you AF with old MF lenses and IQ is great.
So with A 200 F4 you will need just to prefocus ( AF converter has a limited AF range) 1.7x converter and it will take care of focus, very cool.
