Jewelltrail - thank you so much for the kind words about my aurora shot. Much of the time I'm 'just trying' as I'm certainly no expert at photography. I took some other shots without the farmyard light but thought that one was more interesting. The aurora itself wasn't exactly astounding - a greenish glow for the most part. I didn't stay out long either because it was COLD.

Last night I used mine to try for some aurora shots. Thought I was going to be frozen solid!
