For anyone wondering if Q delivers for print - I posted earlier that I had made a deal with the Yellowpages group for the cover of a local directory. And it arrived on my doorstep today - Remember to shoot in Raw (i'd never have been able to sell this if I was shooting JPG).

Love Q for close up work because of the cropping factor. This is 21mm Ltd with Extension Tubes mounted on Q for K mount adapter on an original Q.

Q gets paid!
I just invoiced Yellow Pages for this one. Standard 01 lens - and here is a good reason to shoot RAW - they wanted an uncompressed file greater than 25MB to suit their graphic design needs.

Isnt the Q nice.. some times its just there when you need it. I was shooting a month with a fish eye and bolted out of the house to catch rainbows resultant from a thunder storm - the Q was conveniently tucked away in my car.
Shot in Raw with minor W/B adjust and some clarity and saturation in LR 4.

danou - love it !! Jackassp shared plenty of Adelaides graffiti with us over in the Single In group. It seems all of Australia is filled with aspiring street artists!
I had the Q out today for kicks. i had not been shooting it much, and I've taken a break from Single In Challenges so I can play a little bit.
The Niagara Escarpment is well known for its beautiful colours - and they seem to be hanging on with perseverance this year. i've helped out with the brilliant colour creative filter - SOOC.

Cross posted from today's Single In September thread. Q + Q to K adapter + Extensiontube #1 + FA 35/2. I was wishing for more DoF... but what do you do...
By the way, our temps went down below 5 C last night for this guy was alive, but very sleepy, permitting me to get nice and close with out escape.

I'll bet you have, this is what you get by poking your Q where it doesn't belong ;) Most everyone shooting from here dont realize that just beyond the parkway railing is a slim fringe of wildflowers before the big plunge below. Usually you will see this instead... (note my photo looks as though I am in some isolated spot, but I was standing in among the tourists)

This is getting to be a pretty busy thread - great shots, I like the conversion above.. i'm finding the RAW is pretty pliable. Beautiful spaniel too.

M 28/3.5 + extension tube on adapter. Shallow DoF becomes problematic if the samples are not flat.

Was that an in cam B&W conversion? Lovely portrait.
I've been using Q for more mundane activities. The following is an idea of how handy the tools of macro can be amplified. The image below is the back side of a peel of wood coating, and you can see all the wood fibres hanging off the back quite nicely.

Phil! Terrific. Larry the Macro - stunning. And I love the 2nd shot from Lowes. I've been following this thread for a few weeks. I picked up a Q and just today recieved the q-K lens adapter. My tripod foot is not in yet so I farted around hand held not quite figuring how the Aperture control works. Lots of fun.
