I have not shown my K-1 much love since switching to K-3 iii for shooting sports... Man I love that flippy screen for shots like this.

Next time I'll do a better job and use a tripod and more slices for more detail (this is a blend of a wide open shot of the face, and an ƒ11 shot to get more in focus)

I really enjoyed the autumn colours this year. Maybe due to the La Nina cycle? Who knows.
One thing about all those golden orange and red colours, is you cannot share them all at once or they lose their splendor.

I've been shooting with the K3 iii predominantly since its arrival. Today was a quick jaunt to the falls to renew my annual parking pass... man I love the files out of the K-1.

DFA 70-210 at the Table Rock Info Centre. There were probably 50 photographers present for sunrise on Sunday because we have had such terrible overcast all winter. The fog sneaking in on the left side deposits an unending rain on those in its path, and at -15 or so, the rain is really and truly freezing rain. Not very many with weather sealed kit.

An early rise to catch some sunshine which has been a little rare these days with winter conditions being quite overcast. It was a cool morning at the falls with temps below -15C.

Bubbly bokeh almost doesn't look like a photograph, and I love the monochromatic bridges in orange.
@northcoastgreg - you've got more leaves on your side of the lake than we have here... great colours.

Good on you for getting into it!
That demonstrates very well the reason I picked up an L-bracket.
A heavy zoom (15-30 for example) plus too narrow a base and I get freaked out.
I recently upgraded RC-2 plates to Arca Swiss style, picked up a Sirui ball head and added the L bracket and I feel so much more safe.
Which system for the 150mm CPL?

I posted this in Sept 30th Daily In thread... but at 12,800 ISO I think it needs to go here too. I'm shooting the vanilla K-1. I did swish this through Nik DFine to clean up some noise.

The Great Lakes water level seems to ebb and flow more these days. The waterfront pier is still out of commission, but the town assures me there is collaboration between the province, and the federal government. Maybe we'll be on the pier again for some night sky photography be 2022...
