Maybe "Twelve Black-Spotted" would be better but there are all sorts of creatures whose names don't match up to what they look like - especially at different seasons of the year (Ring-necked Duck, Red Knot...)

I noticed I hadn't posted this one. Flower Longhorn Beetle from last summer, taken with the Ricoh GRIII. If you can get close enough without casting a shadow or scaring the bug off, it gives you lots of depth of field.

Anglewings are hard but I'm pretty sure this one is a Question Mark (named after the little marking on the underside of the wing).

I've just gone through all the wasps in my big insect book and have concluded.... I think it's a wasp. Or maybe a hornet. Couldn't find anything with those particular antennae. Sharpness of the front part isn't the best but I thought some of you might enjoy the challenge.
