V5. The one thing (except the bridge) I love about these night shots is the faint streak of lights left by planes happening to just pass on by as you take your photos :)

One cannot help but fall in dismay at one's own humble attempts, when looking at most of the awesome images in this thread. Really guys, you push the bar so high up, that I started wondering if at all it makes sense for me to buy the damned lens altogether.

Yes,
same question. Would you recommend any easy-to-understand-and-follow turorial on how to blend several exposures into one final picture? Is Ligthtroom 3 sufficient to achieve such results?

i LOVE THE SHOTS. And I am in no way objecting to PP of these photos (HDR, contrast or whatever else anyone fancies). It's the final result that matters. And these shots (by twitch or mikeSF) are just jaw-dropping!

But seriously...
... this picture must have been tweaked in post-production. Where I live, you don't get such colours and such contract just by relesing the shutter... Or is it the lens that really does the trick?

Did any of you use some kind of filters in the shots seen here? They're amazingly nicely rendered and the richness of the many colors and smoothness of transition from different shades of white/ blue/ gray in the sky to the palette of land and surroundings is impressive.
Convincingly impressive.
