Sorry for the typo, i was referring to the MFT 9-18mm for Olympus. I'll use it on my OM-D E-M5 as soon as it arrives.

This is one fine collection, excellent. It shows perfectly what the combination of a good photographer and decent equipement is capable of :)

Nope, I sold the DA15 and sometimes regret it. I loved the lense, it is really stellar if you can live with the soft corners (even at smaller apertures, visibility depends on print size). The Sigma is a great lense (sharp, contrast etc.), too - but totally different.
It really depends on your priorities, mainly size. Mine had shifted, because I did less backbacking and hesitated to invest in Pentax with lenses costing 500€+.

I used to have both (Sigma - LTD - Sigma again) - what do you want to know? :)

If you can afford the f3.5 version I would go for that. I definetly miss the starbursts (spoiled by the DA15). |

Hey there, pretty simple reasons: Fast aperture for object isolation and night market photography. It is small, so there is no reason to leave it at home ;)

The Sigma, the Da18-135 and the F50 were my most used lenses.

First shot of many ;)
I recently spent a week in Beijing, a city which is overwhelming, exciting and frightening. The speed of development is incredible, hutongs next to a building like the CCTW, street food and star restaurants, rikshaws and large limos. During my stay I tried to capture the atmosphere of the city - the atmosphere of constant change and an atmosphere which is constantly changing. From the relaxation in temples to the business of undergrounds.
It took me a long time to select the first picture. In the end, it became a typical tourist spot: the forbidden city. However, we tried to enter it on a Monday when it is closed. So we strolled through the hutongs next to it, from where I took a shot of the outside of the forbidden city. [Set] Peking - 1 von Ineound auf Flickr

Brilliant shot! I like everything about it - the colors, the dynamic, the different layers  Print it large!
----------------------
Last week I received my second Sigma 10-20mm. I used to own one back in 2010 which I sold for a DA15. This copy is really sharp and better than the Tamron 17-35mm I have for the Canon 5D. The only thing I kind of dislike is the lack of starbursts.
For that kind of shots the Pentax delivers far better than expected/ I remembered. First of all, the usability is just awesome, even with gloves. Secondly, I used the sensor shift in way usually a tilt shift lense works - of course the shift is not as dramatic, but in this case I managed to keep lines straight and to get the top of the building in the frame.
I am quite happy with the result - I aimed for a technical appearance of the architecture, kind of lifeless. Steglitz von Ineound auf Flickr

Great colors! Why did you use both - a ND Grad and a ND Reverse? A 16:9 crop might be nice...
I'll be joining the club again. Used to own a 10-20mm back in 2010, sold it for a DA15 and now I am back
