A regular Friday afternoon ride with the bike. Had the K5 and 15mm in my bag and stopped by this small canal. The image the DA15mm delivers is somewhat special - corners are weak, but colors are just great. And I forgot how good the dynamic range of the K5 was.... Along the road by Ineound, auf Flickr

Guys, I did it again... Your shots just want made me buying a SCM DA 15mm again. Couple years back I used to own one, has been my favourite lens, but dropped due to uncertain times for Pentax (MFT user in the meantime, but kept some Pentax stuff).

Hey SMcGuire! I had the same problem with my (by now sold) DA15 - even F8 or beyond and the service could only achieve a slight improvement. However, I would not care too much. One of my most favourite shots I have taken of the Place de Espagna in Sevilla looks very soft in the corners onscreen, but the A3 print does not show a single sign of softness! Hope that helps. The DA15 is a gem - I miss it....

I used zo own the 15 Ltd and have now once again a Sigma 10-20mm. It really depends what you're up to: if 15mm are enough and whieght/size is your major concern, go for the 15mm. A great and easy to handle lens. When I had my first 10-20mm I was not experienced enough to handle the ultra wide end, and I was lucky to be tough how to do that by the Ltd ;) However, the Sigma is rather light for its size, I would say optically slightly better and less expensive... Tough decision ;)

Looks good, you seem to have a sharp copy. Mine was a bit weak in the corners even after being serviced.
