---------- Post added 27th Apr 2016 at 16:32 ---------- I started out with a 6mp K100D + 18-55 mk I. Later I added the 50-200. Then I sold the 18-55 mk I for the mk II which was noticeably better for IQ.
A few years on I sold the K100D and replaced it with a K-30 (which I still have). In the past two years I have bought a new 18-135 and most recently a secondhand 16-45.
Of the two, 18-135 and 16-45, which is better? (I'm with you all the way normhead) My 18-135 has better IQ at any comparable aperture. It's my belief I have a good copy 18-135 and a poor copy 16-45. In summary for the best walkaround lens look no further than the 18-135.if you can, check out a few different examples to make sure you get a good copy.
