So, get a 49-43, connect the raynox base to that, and connect that to the camera and get rid of the universal adaptor altogether?

Hi I got a question regarding this, on the website (DCR-250 Super Macro conversion lens for D-SLR camera) it says that the front filter is 49mm, but the adaptors are 52-67mm... does this mean I can just slot it in to a Limited (49mm) without having to use an adaptor, or will I have to use a step up adaptor to fit it in to the 52mm?
