Sylvain, Nice captures. That's quite a diverse selection of birds and wildlife in one area. No doubt you will be returning to it, especially when the Warblers start to arrive!

It looks like Spring is coming to Algonquin Norm.
Like the way you framed the shot of the female Mallard. Reminds me of a Bateman painting.

The new Tamron 150-600 telezoom is receiving good reviews. Not sure if it is also released for Pentax.

Hi FreeSpirit9. That's a tricky subject for the AF sensors to lock onto. May have locked onto the box. Also, if you were handholding shake may be the cause. The bird is also singing and moving slightly so a 320 sec speed is too slow for a 300mm lens. Try a few subjects using a tripod and spot focus the lens.

That's a beautiful Jay capture. Different coloring than the Jays we see in NA which increases the interest.
