I have to say, this page and the prior one (15) have some of the most excellent photography I've seen on these clubs. Technically good, and many of them are Actual Photographs or Portraits ;)
This is one of my favorite threads to come look at, one I don't participate in since I have only one A lens...

Richard, thank you for such a nice compliment!
I just go and use it, often as the only lens I use. Because it isn't the same contrast and saturation technicolor beast most other Pentax lenses are, a bit of post processing for both goes a long way, and brings out its natural resolution - it does resolve, and quite a bit too!
I don't know what Pentax did differently with the A, it should be the same formula s the M. But maybe they did something with coatings etc.

Oh, yes! Although my only A lens is the 28, I love it dearly.
Some more atmospheric rather than show-off how sharp and so on it is... |
