Thanks, boriscleto. Wow! I've seen some Zuikos go for huge prices on shopgoodwill, but I had no idea about the OM-3.

Before I started watching shopgoodwill, I never knew there were such rabid Olympus fans out there.
The prices I've seen for the 40mm f/2 lens are hard to believe.

I'm glad I haven't caught the Olympus collecting bug. Yet.

A recent Shopgoodwill lot garnered 20 bids and finished at over $800. I was surprised because I don't see anything there which looks that special.

Any ideas about what drove the price so high?

Do you mean they ostensibly don't allow sniping services / software? However it happens, I see sniping regularly.
