It's been a busy month:
Wife bought me a K-3 mk III for Christmas and my next birthday. I have it now so I can learn how to use it for the holidays
I bought her a PLM 55-300 for Christmas and just sniped this HD DA 20-40mm on eBay for $285.

FWIW, I switched to a screw on hood after mine fell off a few times. It seems that a slight brush against clothing is enough to dislodge it.

Coincidentally, I received my used 12-24 on Saturday. I've only tested it for possible damage issues, but I too am impressed so far. I noticed a tendency to starburst points of light, even at wider apertures like ƒ4.0. I'm looking forward to using it more.
I've ordered a lens case from EBay that I think will fit the odd size well. I'll post how it actually fits when I get it.

Since my wife has taken to shooting with a DSLR, I needed another SWA lens. I hope the quality is comparable to my Sigma 10-20mm |

The clever but minimalist design make this my favorite camera strap so far (40 years). I also use their Cuff wrist strap.

Added this lens to my modest collection after the seller accepted my offer.
The good news is that, after cleaning, both the optics and body are close to pristine and preliminary testing confirms that everything is operating properly. The images are good wide open, and very sharp ~ f:5.6

I ordered the K-S2 with 18-135 lens for the $450 special. I have a KP and K10D along with lenses, but my wife has expressed an interest in using a DSLR. She's been using my K10D to learn. The K-S2 is far more advanced than the K10D and will be also capable backup to the the KP in our travels. At the same time, I'd been seriously considering getting the 18-135 WR for all around use, which became more important as it seems I'll have another person needing lenses.
My way of thinking was that an 18-135 is ~$400, so for an extra $50 I get a K-S2 too. It seemed a no brainer to me.
