Btw, is there any reason to get Cokin or Lee filters after getting the 55 sampler from Rosco? Does the Rosco suffice for all your light balancing needs and creative photography?

If you have a stack of say 70 or so gels, I think it would become quite unmanageable with all that velcro--140 small pieces of velcro don't stack so neatly :) Also they don't stack as nicely when bent. I want them flat and thin so I can store all 70 of em easily in one little container.

Also, I am thinking that acrylic might protect the gels from heat from the flash bulb.

You have a point about space in the bags for those acrylic holders. I am thinking about just making my own holder out of black cardstock: 2 layers, 2 folds, 2 pieces of velcro.. they would fold flat and store nicely in the bag--3 or 4 of em.

This gel holder looks pretty darn nice.. was wondering how much light would be cut out though going through that much plastic. Also that is so much plastic it might cause color shifting?
