Yes, the Super Fat Takumar 35/2 is prone to flare easily. So avoid the sun in the frame if the effect is not wanted.. or any direct light source in fact :lol: .

My Fat 35 F2 Super-Takumar arrived! Almost mint condition Iīd say with hood and case for 120 Euros :) ! Love it :) !
Itīs not the sharpest tool in the box for sure wide open but usable and sharpens nicely stopped down.

I guess I got lucky with my Tak 17, I traded a couple of lenses for it locally. Mint condition. Always wanted a FE but they are usually too big to carry along just in case I find something to shoot with one.. This oneīs small like a limited pancake! :lol:
Iīll keep it with me from now on, slips in a Limited leather pouch just fine :) .

Never had a Takumar before.. love the build quality! And the IQ ainīt that bad either! :)
Who needs all those new D-FA lenses.. :lol: . I donīt.. canīt even afford second hand FA limiteds :p .
