Woohoo! I own a legendary rare vintage glass!
Well, after shooting with it a little I can already say that it's simply superb. Razor sharp all the way (although there is some purple-blue fringing and slight blooming at f2.8), solid build, fast AF, very compact, and with built-in hood. That's the dictionary definition of "Limited".
Actually, I just saw a market ad here for another F135, for slightly less than what I paid. I think the F or FA do pop for sale several times a year. I'm glad I caught mine.
Regarding attractiveness, it cost me $450 which is still less than what each of my DA Limiteds cost me, so considering what I got, I found it as attractive as any of the latter. I think a fast and compact 135mm complements very well the focal length range that the Limiteds offer (topping at 70/77). A modern reincarnation by Pentax would be very popular I believe.
Sample shots soon...

Hi everyone, just joined the club...
With shaky hands I finally opened the eBay package and held my shiny new (old) F135! So far I just checked that it's working, and it does - as far as I can tell from the LCD display on my K-7, AF works accurately (dim Tungsten room!), aperture works, and sharpness is nice and even at f/2.8. :-)
I hope the lens will stand more serious tests soon...
I was kinda wondering why this lens (and the FA sister) don't get much publicity in this thread. Everyone drools over the K f/2.5 (probably for a good reason), but the F and FA are evidently also very good optically AND are compact, built well (lots of metal), and feature fast AF. Is it because of the higher price (I paid a lot...) or do they lack the pixie dust?
