I wish I had taken the time to remove the dead stalk of millet. This would have been a nice one. :( It's gone NOW, of course.

Thanks very much, Jim. These are European Starlings. They are common throughout the US and Canada. They are the bane of farmers. They flock in the thousands and can decimate crops in a hurry. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/European_Starling/lifehistory

Just picked up the K-30 on Monday evening.

These guys are so photogenic. But, they always wear out their welcome very quickly. I don't mind one or two, but it always escalates to a FLOCK of mayhem & chaos.
