no way. the best finder on any rangefinder is the one on a Bessa R3a/R3m. 1:1 (1.0x magnification) life-size finder. I have an M3, and its not as good. it just isn't. of course a lot less can be said for the rest of the Bessa, vs. an M3, but Cosina put it good to Leica when they introduced that finder. if you say otherwise you either haven't tried it or you are likely just a leicaphile. the M3 is a great camera though. but I prefer an M2. why did you not include the M2?

out of those three, europe for sure. it has the prettiest scenery and that can make up for the complete crap world economy right now. don't come here to the states. just don't. unless theres something here you really want to see or experience specifically, I think you'd have a much more grand cultural experience and discovery in europe than you would here.

no it may not be, but its plenty good. so many people down the iPod, but there are far worse options out there. I don't feel that having an iPod/iPhone is really giving anything up in terms of overall sound quality. now, I'm not an audiophile, never have been and never will be. but I do listen to a lot of music and have a quality home turntable and headphones. but even through an external amp connected to a pair of Grado's there isn't a large enough noticeable difference in most of the music I listen too on a daily basis. that includes jazz, classical, blues, rock, pop, folk, etc, etc. including a lot of traditional chinese, vietnamese and indian music with quite large sound stages. the difference between a FLAC on my macbook, apple lossless, 320 and 256kbps AAC on my iPod is very small. is there a difference? of course, but not enough to warrant tossing my iPod listening to only FLAC through overly expensive cans. of course none of these really touch vinyl, which is why I still buy many albums on vinyl quite often, but I wouldn't consider my iPod to be inferior in any way in terms of everyday listening, even if it doesn't do FLAC or have the best available audio chip on the inside.

this is the bit that most people (particularly the 'audiophiles') usually don't get. most young folks don't listen to music where you can experience that kind of sound range. it just doesn't exist in a lot of contemporary music. thus, in most cases being able to tell the difference between a CD, 320kbps mp3 or a lossless file is pretty difficult at best, no matter what you are listening to them on or with.
as for myself, I listen to mostly a mix of the standard iTunes store encoding (256kbps AAC), 320kbps mp3 and Apple lossless converted from FLAC (this is mostly rips from my personal CD or vinyl collection) on my iPod with a pair of Sleek Audio SA-1's. its very rare, that I can tell the difference in most cases.

the watch maker felt it important to let the buyer know where in america it was made? it is actually common for past american watch companies to be named after the city in which they were founded, such as Elgin and Waltham. so the place in america where they are made seems to be an important factor in the countries watch history. he must be proud of his state. is it odd to you that he would include the state? it seems logical to me...

Black paint SV. don’t ask me how much I paid for it though, because I won’t tell you. just know that I paid far more than it was really worth.

nice. hopefully you will be able to keep them from spreading outside of atlanta, because I’m too close for comfort and my city is far too pretty to have zombies messing it all up. the only problem is, do you have enough ammunition? I’m thinking that a crossbow is a far superior zombie killer, but yours is certainly bad ass.

haha that bit of sarcastic wit nearly went right over my head. beautiful lens by the way. whenever one finds such a pristine piece of equipment basically unused, so many years after manufacture, it makes you wonder just how many things out there are just sitting around somewhere not now or ever having been used. how does that happen? and when might all the such pieces of equipment that may exist in this way all become one day ‘used’?

haha I carried one with me to the philippines and it was pretty much just that. I used it once. the 43mm is by far the more useful of the limiteds. indeed the 43 may be the greatest SLR lens ever designed.

being 26 going on 27 and a guy who bought half-life the day it was released I resent such a sentiment. portal is a great game. I haven't tried portal 2 yet but I can imagine its a real trip to play.

beautiful, and your photo makes me want a DA 40. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to gordy and his straps. do yourself a favor and replace that pentax grey one with one of his. you wont regret it. it would go great with your K-x. I have one on my K-7 (among several others) gordy's camera straps |

no. no lovely brass, but the metal does show through. a dull grey, but I figure that once it is significantly weathered it will look quite good. like a camera should look if I do say so.
