I really do not understand the big deal....

Adorama (and every other major lens retailer, even the manufacturer of the lenses) uses the dreaded E word.
You know why...because that's what people know! People know that 15mm in 135 terms is UWA, 35 is WA, 50 is normal....and so on.

To go on some big crusade now in order to change some standard because Pentax does not offer a 135 is being purposely dense IMHO.
Especially because we ALL know what it means.

He doesn't say which film camera he is using. He could be using an ME or whatever for all we know.

Ummm, yea.
I don't see where I said Pentax was the only brand that didn't have aperture rings.
Maybe you can point out where I implied that.

Not only might it vignette, but it also does not have an aperture ring. So unless you can control the aperture on the body, the lens will always be completely stopped down.
