Hey thanks a lot for the reply. So it's my technique that's out of whack. You're right about the OOF. Now I feel like an OAF. About the second one, I tried the desaturation trick, but it didn't come out very well. I'll give it another whirl. Again, thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. Cheers, gt

Thanks for your response DeadWolfBones. I'm a noob, so have never shot w/ a dslr let alone a fast lens before. So good to know the limitations. Again, really appreciate your reply. Cheers, geetee

Hi
I recently picked up a 31 and 77mm Ltd. Some of my shots have CA. I've attached a couple of pics showing this. The pics were shot raw, opened, cropped, and saved as jpegs. The first one, of the flowers, is taken with the 31 wide open. The second - of the dew drops - was taken w/ the 77 at f/2.8.
Question: Is the CA in these pics typical for these lenses? If so, what do experienced users of these lenses do to minimize it? Am I simply taking the wrong shots for these lenses?
If the CA is inevitable given the shooting conditions, is there anything I can do in PS to remove it (I have Elements)?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
