No Over-Heating during Astrophotography ! ;)
only Regulators & Timers at work
these small ILCs are made to shoot Long Movies @ 30 fps in the hot hands of the operator => 40°C
no worry they could reach such High Temperatures shooting Astro-photos !
a night in August, I shot a 10s Auto just after the 30s : www.pentaxforums.com/forums/136-pentax-q/212387-astro-q-club-10.html#post2939126
... and the internal Camera Temp was...
the same than Ambiant
= 24 °C !
each time, the tiny battery lasted all the night long !

not sure what you mean exactly ?
- Bulb-Mode is also limited to 30 seconds !
- Multi-Exposure Mode outputs a JPEG file, not a RAW
- PKTether doesn't work for Qs... just for DLSRs
- No Remote-Timer control port on Pentax Q, Q10, Q7, Qs1, etc...
- even the IR Remote-Timer doesn't work in Bulb-Mode !
so what ?...
:hmm:

.
thank you very much uttam hathi !
I will try this Debug-Mode on my K-5 very soon !
do you know if there is a way to increase Long-Exposure of Pentax Q, Q7, Q10, etc...
from 30 seconds up to 60 or 120 seconds ?.. or even more ?
3x M27 Dumbbell pics from Pentax Q10 : www.pentaxforums.com/forums/136-pentax-q/212387-astro-q-club-10.html#post2935714
these ILCs would be " true Killers " in Astrophotography of Small & Tiny objects from Deep-Sky...
their Sony Back-Side-Illuminated CMos sensors are from 1,9 up to 2,8 times more efficient than usual CMos
of course from 1,9 up to 2,8 times more efficient than usual CMos per unity of area !
but the 30 seconds limitation actually forces to set ISO 1600,
which is not the straight way to get the best IQ...
