Incredibly sharp photos! Absolutely stunning. Now I'm really undecided what to buy in the near future - the DA 15mm, DA* 50-135mm or this one.

I think that the photos taken with the lens are generally sharp and colourful. However, on one occasion I've experienced an odd auto focus error using the battery grip to focus. Well, in fact I couldn't focus at all - not until jeg turned the camera off and then back on.

Great thread - and photos! I've been lurking here far too long admiring your stuff.

So I finally got my first tele lens (and DA*) yesterday, the DA* 300mm. Today I went to the Zoo in Copenhagen giving it a try (photos post-processed in Lightroom 3):

And this is the downside of using primes: ;-)
