Yes! We do the egg wars every Easter. I always lose. :D It's big amongst Greeks.
We don't have the pretty masks though! That's why I thought your family might be more northern closer to the Ukraine and Russia.
Regarding the lenses NicoleAU said the 77 is great for portraiture (what I mainly want to use the lens for). Would anyone say it's better for it than the 43? I know they can both be used for portraits I would just like to know the advantages/ disadvantages of each. And is one sharper than the other from anyone's experience?

My family has the same tradition, you are not alone in the weirdness. ;) Are you Christian Orthodox? My family is Greek.
Anywho I came to this lens club to say great photos everyone! I'm drooling at some of these amazing photos. :D
Also I'm here to ask for some opinions on what lens I should buy: the 43mm or the 77mm.
Is there any major differences between the two? I'm leaning towards the 43 since it is about $100 cheaper, but I am willing to go with the 77 if it will be better in the long run.
