Hey captainbert, welcome back, I was a bit worried you kind of fell off the edge of the earth.
Love the images, especially the moody first. But please straighten the horizon line. ;)

Indeed, as this thread so amply demonstrates. This lens club thread has had the highest number of 'likes" of all lens clubs for months though far from the highest number of posts. Light goes in magic comes out. :D

I find the forest extremely elusive and difficult to capture. So much stuff one can't see the stuff for the stuff! :( I'm kinda pleased with this one from the widema. :D

Designosophy, thanks for your generous comment. I've enjoyed may of your images too.
JHD, Thanks so much for the like and your generous comment.
A little praise goes a long way at this stage. :D
Forgot to mention the body is a K-5. This is my first DSLR and I've had it since early July. I'm sure having fun with the k-5 & 10-20. Light goes in, magic comes out.

Greeting everyone, I'm very excited and pleased to "join the club". There are so many wonderful images in this thread. Thank you all for the inspiration and for showing what's possible.
Here's one from my first outing with the Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6. This is about 2 hours before sunset, pretty wild sky for that time of day.
