Thanks for the clarification - it was always explained to me in the way I described it.

If anything, it's sharpness should induce moire - moire occurs when a pattern's lines match the size of a pixel on the sensor, and sharper lenses will allow for finer lines.

As far as I can tell, the k-5IIs and the FA31 were made for each other.

Gotta match some serious primes with that k-5IIs :)
I suggest the FA 31, DA*55, DA70, and DFA 100 macro heh heh heh...

The DA* 16-50 isn't the sharpest of lenses, and 50mm F4 in your image shows a little softness in the leaves. But still, it managed to resolve those cobwebs, and the sensor captured it!

Fantastic shot showing how ISO 5000 and the FA31 on the k-5IIs is just phenomenal. Looking at the picture at full size, the amount of detail available on the bottom lip of the cup and the fruits next to it are crazy well preserved, even with the high-ish ISO. Even more amazing is that leaf on the lower left side of the cup - you can see the pattern detail with no blur.

That is seriously clean for ISO 4500.. and seriously sharp for 1.7x teleconverter!
