Yep, I should have asked them to re-point them symmetrically!

Quite understandable if you have 30 to 40 years between heavy snow falls. My image was taken in an area where you normally get a snow depth of at least 50-100 cm every winter, and the buidlings are designed to handle that. The snow provides some nice extra insulation as well, so no reason to get rid of it :)

Another snow covered landscape shot with the A20/2.8. Not quite the flare resistence or the pointy starbursts of the DA15, but I still think it does a good job. I really like this lens :) Hare spoor by -savoche-, on Flickr

These people seem to think their roof will cave under a few decimeters of snow

Yes, it's a fun place to walk around with your camera. I will definitely make more attempts here, maybe with the Zentiar 16mm fisheye - or my old Sigma 10-20 on APS.
Thanks. And I agree, I usually don't correct my shots with the A20. I like them better with the added twist and drama - and the wide-angle perspective would never be correct anyway, no matter how much you "correct" them.

It's in Oslo, Norway, right next to Oslo Central train station. This Wikipedia article isn't quite updated (lacking anything about these two buildings) but contains a bit about the Barcode project of which they are a part: Barcode Project - Wikipedia |

Really hard to get a good angle on this building. Too hard, in fact. Have to give it another go some day.

You have a mighty strange definition of "snaps". I do think you, at the very least, have put a thought or two into those "snaps" before snapping them ;)

Yep, 5 blades. As we concluded elsewhere, it makes more of a propeller than a starburst, but I still like it :)
Some more long exposure A20 shots. Might post some of them in colour later, but just b&w for now - it's MoNovember, after all!

Purely to test the starbursts of the A20 :)

That's a Scottish understatement if I ever saw one
No need to lift the shadows quite that much in this one from my walk today. Held the camera on an outstreched left arm while holding on to a tree with the right. Waterlevels were a bit higher than I had anticipated ;)

Thanks! Very rough measurements are 97 and 19mm. Not the optimal measure nor very good light though. I'll see if I can do better tomorrow. Definitely not the most nimble hood!
