Thank you David and Asad. Really happy that both of you shed some light on my backyard photographs! I am quite lazy in terms of getting around to the wild countryside to do shots and that is why i got my backyard full of all kinds of perenials and fruit trees - economical and ornamental. Handy in deed. When I have an afternoon off, I just stayed in the backyard doing shots as relaxation exercises.
To David, k10d does have a lot of features but I still bring my k100d around to my shopping! Yeah, I mean shopping in supermarkets. It is light to carry and its images are great for 5X7 prints. Only if i am printing A4 sizes and above, I still use k100d.
Oh, Funnily i had left all my canon gear in my cabinet for some time. hehe. I think the canon nazies in DPR would have crucified me really badly if they heard me leaving 85/1.2 135/2 24/1.4 35/1.4 300/4IS behind in the house. Instead I used pentax gear all the time now :)
And I do not believe the crap of SR only 1/2 stop for k100d mentioned in DPR k100d review. That is just untrue. I personally think at least 2 stop faster!!
Pentax equipment is addictive

Thanks for looking at my old thread!
This post is the result of a syndrome many pentax users suffer from immediately after having received their own k10d... Iresistible urge to post k10d shots.
To kjask, the 1st and 3rd shots are taken by sigma 70-200/2.8 as my 77 ltd taken away by Joele. It seems that this well regarded lens has a strong UV filter built inside the lens already - hence the colour was rather vibrant. I did not crop the shots because I wanted the shots "straight out of the camera".. hehe
To Randy, thank you for the kind words. My shots are not as great as the pro members of pentax - photography is the result of my only passion and one of the many obsessions.
To Alan, that was my mummy's cooking. Rockling Fish local to Victoria oz. Cheap but tasty. I am hungry already (I usually take away food or buy stuff from KFC). Mummy's food is always the best

To xfraser, i really think k10d interprets colour well whatever the lens was used :)
To Clarence, I had never looked back ever since i got k100d and now k10d (Though I have 9 canon L primes - not too sure what to do with them ...)
To Vievetrick, that was rockling fish, local fish harvested by victora in australia.. :)
To Scott, I really enjoyed this camera, nice grip, feels more solid, not as heavy as other brands, great camera! And I saw your outstanding images from your k10d too. Pentax is really addictive :)

Got the camera few days ago but never had any chance to go out to do a few shots.
The colour seemed great and these shots are ordinary. But i did the shots straight out of the camera.
Now k10d is now with me. Will start hunting down some great pentax lenses :)
Thanks for looking. Gonna work this weekend. :( Hopefully can go for a trip the following weekend. happy snapping
