[responding to the OP's invitation to introduce my film Pentax]
K1000, purchased new thirty-some years ago; still have it, still going strong. Came with the 50mm f2 kit lens.
A couple weeks (months? don't remember) later, a couple paydays apart, I bought my Pentax 135mm f3.5, an Albinar 80-205mm M lens, then an Albinar 28-80mm A lens.
I knew nothing of LBA back in the day, was making rational choices re: building a flexible battery of affordable lenses over a reasonable range of focal lengths.
