I've seen some great pictures in that thread. I think my biggest fear is that I might be missing out on a lot if I go with 19mm instead of 16mm. I bough the 30 as a walk-around lens, but I'd like either the 16mm or 19mm for indoor and/or group shots where space may be limited. I know that 16mm and 19mm can be a big difference. Have you ever regretted not going wider than 19mm?

So, I've had the Sigma 30 for about a day now and I'm really enjoying it. I have to admit, I'm hooked. The next lens I want is either the Sony 16mm or the Sigma 19mm. Has anyone tried both? I know they range is similar, but I also know they are very different lenses. I would probably use the lens a lot for group shots and some landscape. What would you recommend, and why?
I appreciate all of the help.

Now you went and left me doubting myself. I ordered the 30 because I thought that it would give me the most bang for my buck... now you've gone and ruined that by showing me those cool pics you took with the 19mm.
Seriously, I think I will be happier with the 30, but that 19 definitely seems to produce some nice images. Thanks for the share.

Thanks for the advice, I just ordered the Sigma 30mm. I get the feeling I'll be ordering the 19mm soon. I thought I was done with LBA...

Right now, I've got the 16-50 kit lens that came with my NEX 5, but I'm seriously considering buying a prime or two for my camera. I have a lot of Pentax primes that I plan on using, but for everyday situations, I'd like to have a nice walk around lens with auto focus. I don't really care if it's Sony or another brand, I'm really looking for something that will be good for low light situations, offers good to great IQ, and that I can keep on the camera 90 percent of the time and not regret not using a zoom lens.
Is there a site that compares the different lenses that are available for NEX cameras? Are there any that you guys recommend? I'm looking into something in the 16-35 mm range. I'm worried the 16 might be too wide (possibly too much distortion?) for everyday shooting, and worried that the 35mm 1.8 might be a little too big (the lens might be too big). I really want to keep everything as compact as possible. I really appreciate any insight that can be provided. Thanks in advance.
