Having shot 35mm film, I moved back to FF when the D700 was released. Over the years I have tried (and am still trying) other brands and formats. I keep coming back to FF. The main driving factor is how the camera fits my hands. Having tried a bunch of different brands, Pentax has the best feel (in the hand, control layout, menu system) for me. Not sure I'll find a camera other than the K-1 that fits me so well. One of the other issues for me is the constant mental gymnastics of applying "crop factors". I think in FF terms, and hate having to constantly think about the apparent FOV on different formats. Very happy to be shooting FF and Pentax.
