defiantly love the grid spot, get some really nice intense lighting :) love that it's literally no cost to make :D

ok, i couldn't wait for the adapter ring, so i started taking a few shots just holding my lens backwards.

defiantly not tack sharp, but i kinda like it. quite artsy don't ya think? .... whenever a photo doesn't come out good, just say it's art, and you'll have people that love it haha


this one, i was also playing around with the triggers i just received (not sure how i lived without off camera flash all this time) and my diy grid spot :D looks kinda cool i think.

do you mean you attached the lens with reverse ring to the extension tube? does it focus even closer?



oh please, you know you're a cheap ass ;) alternative indeed. granted a macro lens would be killer, but having to manually focus and expose you are really forced to think a little more technically about your shooting, which is fantastic :)

i ordered myself a reverse macro adapter just over the weekend, can't wait :D also an extension tube, we'll see which is more fun :)

yay for cheapo photographers who can't afford macro lenses ... yay hehe
