The ZX-50 was the one I originally came to get. The other stuff belonged to a family member. I'm going to return this week and get the rest. He's also found an ME Super with another fast 50 lens.

So I have decided to feed my recent LBA to the extent that I can on my limited budget. I went to pick up a ZX-50 with a Quantaray 70-300 macro zoom and an F series 35-80 zoom for $40. When I get there, the couple selling it offer to sell me a PZ-1 with a (I think) F series 70-210, a nice flash and *surprise surprise* an F 50mm 1.7. I didn't have enough cash on me to buy everything, so I offered them $15 for the 1.7. To my shock they took it. So I got three lenses and a ZX-50 for 55 bucks. I figure my luck is going to come to an end at some point and something bad will happen, like dropping my K200D in the toilet or something.
I'll get some pics of the new stuff shortly.

Just curious. How rare is the ME SE model with the brown leather? I won an auction for one with a 50mm 1.7 M lens for $29. Sounded like a good deal at the time...

It's actually the trunk lid of a Taurus.
And since I wasn't really happy with the IQ from my cell phone, I took the old girls to the beach today and shot them with a real camera.

Oh, that car has seen worse. Its a tough old war horse. I'll get some better pictures of the Tak with my real camera. I'm waiting for my screw mount adapter to arrive so
I can shoot with it.
As for the Albinar, I haven't tried any film in that K1000 and it won't mount on my K200D, so I can't comment. Its in amazing condition though. 20 years old and still has the little gold inspection sticker in mint condition.

I'm now the aspiring hoarder of a K1000 and an MV as well as my K200D. I like the looks and size of the MV. It must have been a nice camera in its day. The K1000 is only a year or so older than the one I had when I was a kid, so there's some sentimental value there. I mainly get them to see what lenses I can use with my digital, but the film cameras I have are both in excellent condition. I mainly just keep them for looks. I don't ever intend to go back to film at this point. Unless I pick up a 645 for cheap that is.
