Anyone? Sure! Me . . . not really. I shot for years during the film era with only a Hasselblad and a normal 80mm lens. There are many people who live by the one-camera-one-lens work ethic. Currently I am almost exclusively shooting with the K-1 and the D FA 100mm f/2.8 WR Macro for non-macro purposes. It's not for everyone, but then again neither is Pentax—and I don't mean that in a snobbish way because I would not be shooting Pentax if I was a sports photographer.
In some ways I select my digital cameras like I use to select my film. I remember when I bought my first Pentax, the K-5. I had been shooting Canon so I purchased the 7D. I had so much buyer's remorse because I didn't like the images I had been seeing made by the camera, but I was reluctant to buy the Pentax without holding it. I returned the Canon the next day without ever opening the box and ordered the K-5 online. I've never looked back . . .
