There is no need to over think this, there is something wrong with the scale of the 6x7 and the 6x6 samples, they should be the same height and aren't.

I can confirm that a SMC Tak 55/1.8 does work on an H2 with the lens switched to manual. It works perfectly on both my H2's.

The 55mm 1.8 Taks are all special but the autoTaks with their 10 aperture blades give them a much nicer rendering of out of focus high-lights
in my opinion.

My newly film tested Black K2 in full working order with accurate shutter speeds and meter. It was a "steal" at $72 complete with the 1:1.8/55mm.
Even though its nice in black and has aperture priority I think I still prefer my "Panda" KX for its better layout and simplicity.

My new addition to my burgeoning collection. It's in such good condition it looks like it was rarely used. If this camera has a
fault it's that it came with a case and a 50mm 1:2, I'm starting to get way too many of them. Its time to sell some!

Yes it only has single frame mode, not a big deal when continuous frame mode is only 1 1/2 frames a second.

Yes the mod. is very professionally done, apart from the numbers instead of a C and an S on the wheel, the camera is cosmetically identical.
I don't believe Pentax was involved in the modification, but a company that specialised in camera mods. is more likely. After seeing 2 other modded 645s I have been searching for the source of this for quite a while
and when I found this camera it saved me from having my standard 645 from being modified.
I'm very sorry I can't be of more help

If you notice on my camera the CS dial has a 0 and if it's rotated counter-clockwise it has -0.5 then -1, clockwise it has +0.5 then +1. This is the very rare mod. where the CS dial has been reasigned 0.5 EV comp. function.

The latest addition to my growing Pentax film family with its 75mm f2.8 and 200mm f4 all in pristine condition and it even has the mod. for 0.5 stop Ev comp.in place of the CS dial.

Thanks, yes its a Green "R" and I believe that makes it pre 1964 and I'm reliably told that does mean a Super Tak 50/1.4 doesn't clear the mirror, and I do own one.
But at $80 for the camera, lens, meter and case I think thats only a minor problem especialy since it came with a 55/1.8 Super Tak.

My "new" SV. It's in amazing condition for a fifty year old camera and it came with a 55mm f1.8 Super Tak, a fully working meter and an original strap and case in as new condition.
I have film tested it and every-thing is working perfectly and all speeds are accurate. They don't build them like this anymore.

Another for my growing collection, a pristine ME Super with the quality control stickers still on the lens and body. It's as good as if it left the factory yesterday.
If only they sold back then for the $30 I paid.

I found this black beauty with lens and remote cable for less than the price of the cable. I restored it with a cloth (I gave it a wipe),and every-thing functions perfectly.

I posted my new MZ-S a couple of weeks ago but it was only a phone camera picture, here it is with is new partner a brand new K mount Nokton, I didn't think there were any Noktons to be found after Voightlander stopped making K mounts! I've had two pieces of luck lately a brand new MZ-S (new old stock) and a brand new Nokton. They don't disappoint, the lens has a sharpness and crispness that has to be seen to be believed,it has that solid feel and wonderfully damped focus ring and paired with the MZ-S you get a connection with the camera that I thought was gone forever when my Brother in-law lost my much loved Minolta SRT super. Oh I have to mention THAT SHUTTER'S amazing feel and sound its so sensual. I'm in love.

Yes it was super cheap, I don't think the recievers did very well for the camera shop, but they sure gave me a bargain.

I have just picked up a new Pentax family member to go with my K7 & K5. It was left unloved and alone while all the Canons & Nikons were sold at a Camera shop closing auction. It is new old stock and I fell in love with it. Thanks to very little interest at the sale it only cost me $197 AUD. Now I'll have to buy it some nice glass.
