I've been using the 24/3.5 tilt-shift a lot lately. Here's a 3-shot shift panorama with a bit of forward tilt: Eventide (2) by Jeff, on Flickr

Then, in reference to my post about your earlier image, this must be Götterdämmerung. :)

Fantastic thematic contrast between the clear foreground, pastoral and a bit mundane, and the dreamy, mythic, epic (I mean that literally; I can't help but think of Valhalla) background, the form of the low hill and cottage reflected and magnified in the magnificent mountain fortress and high peaks in the distance, and reflected yet again in the forms of the clouds. Wow, very well seen indeed, in addition to being in the right place at the right time to capture this amazing atmosphere and light.

Just guessing, maybe it is different for IF lenses?

I'm with you on that one.
Just checked on an A lens, and indeed making the IR adjustment means focusing closer, so that a lens with a hard infinity stop (visible spectrum) still allows you to focus to infinity in IR.

The IR adjustment is in the other direction, away from infinity focus, isn't it? I.e., moving the lens farther from the film/sensor plane, focusing closer. All of my Pentax K, M, and A lenses seem to have a reasonably correct hard infinity stop.

That first shot is a great image of urban decay.

My opinion is that you are showing a lot of confidence in your subjects' skills—they must have been really close! Great shots, welcome to the forum.
