"Wildlife" might be a misnomer in this case. ;) This was at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in southeastern Florida. Perhaps it's that the birds are used to people wanderingly slowly and quietly around with cameras. Or perhaps when you have to share a swamp with alligators, you learn where the real danger lies.

Awesome street photography kit!
I was the second car in the parking lot at Linville Falls this morning (had been shooting the sunrise elsewhere); these guys beat me to it. They had a steep muddy hike in dim light to get here:
