Perhaps it's more accurate to say that I got a mediocre copy. Can happen with any lens, even "legendary" lenses such as the FA31. Anyway, you're getting very nice shots with yours.

Looks like you got a nice copy of the 50-200. This lens (the older version, anyway) seemed to have a lot of variation in quality.

What an amazing moment of light. It's hard to get distinctive images of a subject as much photographed as the Grand Canyon, but this one certainly stands out.
