Got a Sigma 50-500 APO EX and I must say I'm impressed by this monster. There's still a lot to learn how to use it in the field, but I'm satisfied with the first results.

Another shot from Nikkor 300 f4.5 on K-5. This one was really difficult as the branches were swaying in the wind, making it extremely difficult to nail the focus (which is still not perfect here).

Some shots from yesterday's stroll in the local Zoo with K-5 and Tokina SD 400. Altough manual focus, I find the lens very easy to focus even on moving subjects and it's nice and lightweight, very easy to handhold and carry it around all day.

Definitely not the best deer shot in the world, but I'm pretty pleased to nail that one with manual focus.

A series with my old workhorse F 100-300 and K-7, although nowhere near the quality of some of the work here:

Griffon vultures

White stork

European herring gull

Common kestrel

Pied flycatcher

Blackcap

And one with Tamron 70-300 and K200D:

Greater reed warbler

Getting to grips with the recently bought K-5 and Tokina 400 SD... Biggest catch of yesterday was the Eurasian Spoonbill, as it was probably the second sighting of the year for my country :)

Tried out the Tokina SD 400 with a Kenko 1.7x TC for a moon shot, doesn't look too bad :)
