In Swakopmund no snow and very little rain, but the see fog dampens the road and does the same - stick the salty crust to your car

Thanks HoutHans. It is on the main road from Windhoek to South Africa. You actually sometime see some traffic as well. As well as cleverly hidden traffic cops, but this was taken during Covid lock downs etc, so nice and quiet

I do not know what the story is behind this car. Probably caught fire from grass in a good season that got stuck on the exhaust system, but what was this was doing on this lone desert highway far from anywhere?

If you talk to a resident of Windhoek about the 'prentjiebrug' or picture window, they will know that you are referring to this railway bridge crossing the main road to the South. First one in the morning and the second one afternoon.

Some lorries has obviously misinterpreted the height limitation a few times

At the main road to the Zambezi region. They are not exaggerating about the elephants on the road. Th first one taken a bit earlier in the day and the second one hitting about 38 degrees C
