This lens is relatively new to me, but from my experience it seems like f/12--f/14 seems to work well for getting the starburst effect while maintaining decent sharpness. The starbursts in my set required a fair amount of processing to bring out the shadows and decrease the highlights. Perhaps someone with more experience could chime in on their technique.

Hi everyone. There are some great pictures in this thread. Spurred by many of your pictures, I recently acquired the DA 15 and sold my Sigma 10-20...the 15 is much nicer to have with me when hiking! Here are a few pictures taken with it from some recent travels.
