Pentax M and A 35/2 versus 28/2 opinions

The 35mm focal length has always been for me a must have for film and FF. The 28 has always seemed either too wide or too narrow an angle of view...always have gone to a 24 when I needed wider. Result: with my K-3 I have a SMC-A 24 2.8 (35 FF equivalent) and a DA 15 Limited (between the 24 and a 21). The equivalent for a classic 50 would be the 31 or a 35.
