I have an original Asahi Pentax-branded adapter, and I always understood that the correct method for using it was to screw the adapter onto the M42 lens first, and then just bayonet it onto the camera, which prevents having to mess about in the camera’s throat. Also, the Pentax adapters are simple to remove without a tool.

We moved house four years ago to a house with no trees in the garden. So we rarely see squirrels now, boohoo. We’ve planted a few but they’re not big enough (yet) to have residents.

A white squirrel, taken some years ago with my *ist DS, and a more recent red, both in the south of England.
