That's good to know Jan.. I don't know what is considered cheaply for everyone tho.. All the fast C/D prime lenses I find are always around 2oo Dollars or more, and to me that's not cheep. The fast 28mm I am looking at now is not even in the mount that i prefer but I am only considering now is because its $125, which is close to acceptable but not cheap. If I ever found a beautiful fast 135mm for that price. I would consider that purchase instead.

Very nice .. Is that C/D lens realy a constant 3.5? I haven't seen any Soligor Zooms that were C/D and constant. The Soligor 35-140mm lens i have is a constant 3.52 but its not a C/D

Thank you. Yea my Soligor 35-140mm lens is heavy too; one pound. The 28mm I am looking at is also in MD mount.. Like most of my Film camera lenses are. It is good to know that it's a good lens worth looking in to. Now I just have to find one at a reasonable price.
Can I ask what you paid for yours or what you thing a reasonable current price should be?

Sorry to pull a Lazarus; I know how some people get annoyed at posts to old threads even when its the right place to post.

So i was searching the net looking for anything on the Soligor 28mm 2.0 C/D Lens, and found this, but like people in this thread have mentioned, there is not much info about any of the Soligor C/D lenses online..
They sold some pretty good glass.
I Have a Soligor 35-140mm that I love to use with B&W film. It takes fantastic photos. The center is always sharp but with color film, at the 35mm FL there is notifiable Color shift around the edge, about 10% of the frame, that doesn't go away till zoomed almost to 50mm. On a cropped sensor digital tho, it does not matter.
So I can understand the need to find info on any Soligor lens before one purchases it .. My Soligor 35-140MM F3.5 cost me just ten dollars with shipping about ten years ago, but this 28mm I'm looking at now, is well over one hundred dollars.
