The depth of field is really thin at 1.4 but I like the look you cn achieve shooting at that aperture. Here is an example with my two dogs playing: Bella and Bubba by bass3587, on Flickr
I also noticed what looks like ghosting in the lower right corner of the frame. This was the only image I've seen it happen with so I'm dismissing it.

I don't use my Samyang 85mm much but tried it today with the snow falling here in Dallas. The dogs had a blast. Hanging out in the snow by bass3587, on Flickr
