I like how that lens handles reds. It seems that Pentax (like other camera's) have a hard time with reds.

Maybe there is a glitch or setting I don't have set right but on the K3 catch in focus doesn't work with M42 lenses. Works with "A" and "M" lenses but not M42. hmm

Shot with the K3 and I actually forgot all about focus peaking and used the viewfinder.

Well I guess it's time i joined this club. I finally bought a SMC Takumar 135 3.5mm from a member on this forum and I want to thanks him for selling it to me. Finally got a chance to take it out for a spin at one of the local parks here in town. I can see myself using this lens a lot more in the future but it does take a little getting used to as the focus throw is so long on this model. Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday.
I didn't realize until I got home I had taken over 100 images with this lens. Most turned out ok as I missed focus on quite a few but that's to be expected the first time you use a new manual lens. I'll be sure to post more in the future.
