Oh ok, thanks! Didn't know that. I'll look at that thread then and post it there. Thought the DA-L 55-300 counted as a kit lens.

Thank you! I love that portrait. I can see the individual colors of the iris! I recropped the hawk picture to see if I could get closer to the bird itself. I don't think it lost too much IQ when I cropped it even closer.

Just saw that there's a kit lens thread. All of these were taken with the 18-55 kit lens, except the last one which was with the 55-300mm kit.
